5th Ward Crock Pot Creations!

Cheesy Chicken
2lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 cans cream chicken soup
1 can cheddar cheese soup
rinse chicken, sprinkle lightly with salt,pepper and garlic powder
Mix undiluted soup, pour over chicken in crock pot
cook on low 6-8 hrs
serves 6

Chicken Diablo
6 half boneless skinless chicken breasts
4 Tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup dijon mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp curry powder
Place chicken in crock pot pour mixture of butter, honey,mustard,
salt and curry powder on top of chicken
cover and cook on low for 8 hrs
serve over rice
serves 6

Pineapple Upside Down Cake
1/2 cup butter or margarine melted
1 cup brown sugar
1 20 oz can pineapple slices,drained (reserving juice)
6-8 maraschino cherries
1 box dry yellow cake mix
combine butter and brown sugar
spread over bottom of well greased crock pot
add pineapple slices and place cherries in center of slices
prepare cake mix according to directions,using pineapple juice as part of liquid
spoon cake batter into cooker over fruit
cover crock pot with 2 tea towels (dish towels) and top with lid
cook on high for 1 hr and then on low 3-4 hrs

Crock Pot Peach Cobbler
3/4 cop baking mix, such as Bisquick
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp butter or margarine melted
1/2 can canned milk
3 lg peaches or 1 29 oz can sliced peaches drained,mashed or chopped
3/4 tsp cinnamon
lightly grease crock pot, in a large bowl
combine baking mix and sugars stir,then add eggs and vanilla stir,add butter
and milk stir, add peaches and cinnamon and stir
Pour mixture in crock pot cook 6-8 hrs on low or 3-4 hrs on high

Pork Chop Dinner
4 boneless 3/4" pork chops
4 medium potatoes
1 lb. pkg mini carrots
1 sweet onion
2 10 oz cans cream mushroom soup
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
spray crock pot with non-stick cooking spray
cube peeled potatoes
place carrots and potatoes in crock pot
place pork chops on top of potatoes and carrots
slice onion over top of pork chops
top with envelope of soup mix and cans of soup
cook low 6-8 hrs or until meat and vegetables are tender

Dutch Oven Chicken in a Crock Pot
chicken thighs or breast pieces according to amount of people serving
1 or more potatoe per person
2 lbs carrots
1 onion
1 can cream mushroom soup
1 can cream chicken soup
sliced mushrooms ( optional)
dip chicken in water or milk, coat with enough flour to cover,sprinkle with salt and pepper
brown chicken in well oiled pan
place chicken in crock pot
cut potatoes,carrots and onion in bite sized pieces
place on top of chicken
mix both cans of soup together with 1 can water pour over chicken and vegetables
cook on low 3-4 hrs stir every hour (if adding mushrooms add last 30 min)
